Before THIS Olmsted Falls athlete became an Olympic champion, she was a young gymnast learning to feel comfortable soaring through the air. That early foundation eventually led her to one of the most demanding events in sports and from high school success to a career changing second chance at Ashland University.

She would go on to capture Olympic gold in Tokyo, silver in Paris, and three consecutive outdoor world championships. Now, one of the greatest pole vaulters of her generation is looking toward the possibility of making Olympic history once again in 2028.
